TOOL Check

You Pick the one right tool “ Anton Chigurh"

Hey guys, our first edition of tool check we look at the Dewalt cordless DEWALT DCK296M2 20V XR Lithium Ion Brushless Premium Hammer drill and Impact Driver Combo Kit

Cordless Drill combo

Technical Details
Item Weight - 11.6 pounds
Batteries  - Lithium Ion Batteries
Voltage - 20 Volts
Contains both Hammer drill and impact driver.

I bought this drill set roughly 9 months ago and I must say they are truly amazing to you.
Cordless Drill Combo
The drill has three modes, hammer, drill and screw.  And has three variations for drill speeds located at the top.

The impact driver is simply for using screw drivers in tough places.
To be honest I was never really sold on cordless drills due experiences from my peers on their lack of durability. However I am totally floored by the long lasting life of the lithium Ion batters. In addition they are quick charging thus allows for seamless transaction between one battery to the next. Light weight, sleek, durable and most importantly, cost effective I would recommend that this tool is incorporated to every DIYS lifestyle.

Note well, I strongly advise that you make your purchase on the web. Local mark up is ridiculous.
I paid roughly $2200.00TT for the combo, and this is after shipping and taxes, I went to a hardware in Tobago recently, and saw that the impact driver was priced at $1900.00TT

  3. Hello Christophe can you give me an estimated run time of the batteries for the drills? And how powerful are the drills? Like you i'm very skeptical of cordless drills they don't seem to be powerful enough to be put to good use.

    1. Hey TBen, I l myself was very skeptical about the power of these drills, but trust me, they are well worth it. the batteries are Lithium Ion batteries, so they don't easily loose charge and the rating on these bad boys are 20 volt and 3.0A. they work like a dream and last long.
