Lock changing

Today were going to  change a door lock set.
Apparently, the  existing lock that is here began to show signs of wear and tear and as a result the knob was not turning properly. So what were going to do is to disassemble the old lock and replace it with a new one.

What is good about this is that if your able to disassemble one lock your pretty much able to put it back together easily one time is taken to do so.

The diagram  above, shows the basic lock set. The ordered steps of the removal are as follows.

Old lock set
1) Put flat blade screw driver into the slot of the inner knob and at the same time pull the knob to release.
Remove the rose, and the unscrew the mounting plate.
